The Problem

The problem is that millions of people wear over the counter reading glasses that are not satisfactory for computer work. This causes them to make mistakes and contributes to early eye strain and fatigue. Also, adjusting to improper glasses can impart poor posture and neck position for hours each day and contribute to neck and back pain.

For better or worse, the computer is becoming more and more of our normal daily work and home activity. What is needed is an affordable solution for people who need to see their monitor at intermediate distance and the keyboard or reading material closer up. Glasses like this would be considered a computer bifocal. The top would be for the monitor and the bottom provides closer focus. It is very important to note that these glasses will work great for computer/near work, but would have to be removed to see far distance activities such as driving. This is not an issue for people with good distance vision without glasses.
