Eye Care Providers

MEDICAL DIRECTOR AND OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Eric J. Kahle is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biology from the University of Illinois, and graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Kahle then performed a year of internship in the General Surgery Department at Rush Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his Ophthalmology training at this same institution, serving as Chief Resident his final year. He practiced for two years in Danville, Illinois with an internationally known cataract and refractive surgeon. Dr. Kahle then joined Eye Associates as owner in 1998. Dr. Kahle is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has special interest in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and eyelid abnormalities. Dr. Kahle takes pride in providing to patients the latest advances in eye care, which have been safely tested.


OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Gregory Perrone was raised in many locations, as his father served in the United States Air Force. Dr. Perrone eventually landed in Sonoma County, which has been his home for over 20 years. Dr. Perrone received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Riverside, and then went on to get his Bachelor of Science in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate in Optometry from the University of California Berkeley. After receiving his degree, Dr. Perrone completed a residency in Low Vision Care at the VA hospital in Connecticut. Along with taking care of healthy eyes, the most rewarding part of his career is helping people with visual challenges through glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Perrone enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son.


OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Jessica Goldman is passionate about health and ocular wellness as well as providing cutting-edge therapies for eye disease. She studied biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz, completing her bachelor degree in 2004. Seeking comprehensive training in ocular health, she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. There, she developed a passion for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ocular conditions. She then secured a competitive residency focused on Ocular Disease in Nevada. Since 2011, Dr. Goldman has been practicing as a Primary Eye Care Provider, caring for patients with complex ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. She has collaborated in the development of an innovative medical eye care device. In addition, she has authored several articles in optometric publications, and continues to keep abreast of the newest technology and emerging knowledge in the eye care community. She enjoys building long-lasting relationships with her patients, forming partnerships and managing changes in ocular health throughout their lives. She believes that caring for her patients’ vision is an essential part of maintaining overall health and she is honored to be a part of their healthcare team. Flexing her culinary creativity, Dr. Goldman enjoys cooking for family and friends. She also loves traveling and enjoying nature with her husband and two children.

OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Mary Lechner grew up in Pennsylvania. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and University of California at Berkeley from which she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics as well as her Doctor of Optometry Degree. Dr. Lechner has practiced optometry in numerous settings throughout her career. She enjoys all aspects of eye care – particularly educating patients about their eye health, visual requirements and optical options available. Northern California has been home to Dr. Lechner for over 35 years. She enjoys using recycled and reclaimed objects and materials to make furniture and art. She and her husband, a guitar maker, also enjoy designing and making wood furniture.


OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Thomas Lucas IV is a native of Modesto, CA. He attended Oregon State University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biohealth Sciences and a minor in Business. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from University of California, Berkeley in 2019. During his optometric training he completed internships at Kaiser Permanente, Veterans Affair Department of Monterey, and the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. During his internships, he experienced a wide variety of patient demographics, ocular pathology, and advanced pediatric cases. He has particular interest in pediatrics, binocular vision, and post TBI cases. He recently relocated to the area, and in his spare time enjoys hunting, traveling, and long walks with his wife Jane, and their dog Rusty.


Skin Care Providers

DERMATOLOGIST

Randall Hrabko, MD, FAAD practices general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. He received his medical degree and dermatology training from the University of Miami, as well as advanced training in skin cancer surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic surgery at the Roswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Hrabko is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology for over 25 years. He is also a ten year member of the American Holistic Medical Association and applies his holistic skills in the diagnosis and treatment of his patients. He is known by his colleagues and patients for his compassionate and professional care.


DERMATOLOGIST

Anya Bandt, MD, FAAD is passionate about providing personalized care for her patients to achieve the highest quality care and healthiest skin that modern medicine can provide.

After receiving a B.S. in Biochemistry at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, she went to U.T. Southwestern Medical School, completed her internship in internal medicine with an emphasis on surgery at Harbor-UCLA and a dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, where she was appointed to be Chief Resident.  She then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, a field that encompasses a broad range of surgical and non-surgical treatments for skin cancer as well as reconstruction after surgical treatment. Dr. Bandt has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatologic treatments, including laser surgery, fillers, and botulinum treatments.

Dr. Bandt is double board certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery. She continues to attend conferences on all aspects in this specialty to continuously update her education and bring the latest information to her patients.  She is an active member of multiple international, national, and local medical societies and has served as a volunteer instructor for Health Volunteers Overseas and at UCSF. Her hobbies include music, dance, and sailing. She has spent most of her life in California and has raised her three children here.


PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Gregory Hadfield, Physician Assistant (PA-C) joins our practice with over 20 years experience.

Greg is a graduate of Stanford University Physician Assistant Program, previously earning a Stanford Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology.

Greg has 14-years of full-time dermatology experience: 12-years in Lake County, initially with Lake Dermatology, and serving Lake County Tribal Health Consortium as a dermatology provider.  He performs all aspects of medical/clinical/surgical dermatology and has a special interest in diagnosing and treating skin cancer. Patient education is also key to his practice.

He is a 20-year U.S. military combat veteran with deployments to multiple war-zones, always as a member of a special operations team.

In his off time, Greg volunteers with Wounded Warriors and other special needs populations as an adaptive ski instructor.

Greg is a native of California and is happily married to a native of Lake County.


PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Erin Hanauer, Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a native of Arcata, California. She graduated
Summa Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Psychology and went on to get her Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies at Emory University School of Medicine. She graduated with Highest Honors.
 
Erin practiced at the Emory University Hospital from 2006 to 2011 and then moved to Sonoma County. Erin has been providing Dermatology services to Sonoma County residents since 2011. She specializes in skin cancer screening exams and treatment, treating acne and skin rashes, as well as providing cosmetic botox services to patients.
 
Raising a family in Sebastopol, she wanted to work close to her home and serve the community where she lives.


LASER NURSE SPECIALIST

Sharon Hale, RN is a native of Sonoma County and has been providing BBL/IPL cosmetic facial rejuvenation treatments for over ten years. We are happy she is part of our team.  Sharon helps beautify the faces of our staff as well as many members of our community and beyond.


MSN, FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Andrea Frederick, MSN, FNP is an expert in facial rejuvenation using combination therapy to produce both natural and conservative results. Andrea began her medical studies at UCSC, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in biology, and then went on to earn a master’s in nursing and a post-master’s nurse practitioner certification. Andrea has extensive experience with injectable neuromodulators such as Botox and Juvederm volumizing fillers.
